Germantown, Pennsylvania was founded in 1683. For almost two centuries it was an independent town until it was absorbed into Philadelphia in 1854. The neighborhood has a rich history being the birthplace of the antislavery movement and the location of a Revolutionary War battle. Today, it is a vibrant and diverse neighborhood. Enter Todd and Laura Lacy – they wanted to create a place to bring the community together to socialize and share a drink. After four years of planning, Attic Brewing opened in January 2020.
